One year when Guy was about 13, it was just him an’ I an’ no money… He an’ some of his buddies decorated a plant I had sitting in the living room… When I came home from work, him an’ about 4 friends were so proud an’ stood around it singing… “Oh christmas plant, oh christmas plant”... LOL ... Now at 29 he still sees those same friends an’ we all laugh about it every year… LOL
Love, Karo
PS: It’s kinda like when we were really broke when they were young an’ I used to shape their hamburger patties like fish… steak… etc… so they didn’t have to have hamburger all the time… LOL

My Sister Karo

Tough Love

Once upon a time in a land far far away I had a big sister. We grew up together. Like all kids we used to fight. She was three years older than me so she always won. Always. I hated it.

We fought since before I can remember. By the time I was twelve I decided I had had enough. I hatched a plan to put a stop to it.

I decided that the very next time she got smart with me I was going smack her right in the face as hard as I could and she would be so shocked and wounded that she would never ever challenge me again. That was the plan. Now I just needed the opportunity to carry it out. I waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Finally, I got my chance. She was sitting on the couch and she started something. I don’t remember what but I knew this was my chance to stand up for myself once and for all. I walked up to her. I looked down at her and I smacked her as hard as I could right in the face. I was so excited I said to myself “There! I did it!”

I don’t really remember her standing up. And I don’t really remember hitting the ground. But I definitely remember laying there and hearing her say as she walked away “Yeah, I did it too”
