Janis Norma Boshear Mother: Bootsie Father: Jay (I'm sorry about that) My Niece Janis
I remember when I was about 18 years old after I graduated high school I decided to go live with my brother Johnny (as he was known at that time) in Seattle. Bellevue actually. That's where Bill Gates lives now. Although not in the same house I don't imagine. Anyway the thing I remember most about Janis at that time is that she was cute as a bug's ear. I guess she must have been about 7 years old then. She used to call me Uncus Jewelry. She still does as a matter of fact. When Janis was about two years old they lived in Santa Fe Springs. I remember Johnny had a big easy-chair. Actually it was a leather recliner like a Lazy Boy or something. Everybody liked that chair when Johnny wasn't home because it was so comfortable to sit and put your feet up while you watched TV. Janis was the cutest two-year-old ever. She would always do whatever anyone asked of her because she was so trusting and willing to help. One day when the big easy-chair was occupied by someone else I decided I wanted to put my feet up. I was sitting on the couch and I called Janis over and asked her to hold my feet. She did. She just stood there holding my feet for me while I watched TV. I don't remember how long she held them for but I do remember it became a family joke. Whenever anybody came over somebody would say "Hey watch this, Janis come hold my feet" and she would run over to whoever it was and hold their feet for them. Everybody would laugh. I haven't seen Janis since she was 7 years old but I do get the chance to talk to her online once in a while. I don't really know what kind of person she turns out to be but I'll bet she is still a very caring person who would do whatever she could for the people she loves. Thank you Janis, if I ever get the chance, I'll hold your feet for you. Love, Uncus Jewelry
